Some trainers refuse to sell their best Futurity prospects because of their competitive hopefulness. In the past, I've sold numerous N.C.H.A. and N.H.R.A. prospects without regret that have gone on to achieve greatness. The market has changed dramatically in the past few years. Now is a great time to buy or breed and secure your future success in the horse business. While many others stopped breeding in the past couple of years, we continued to breed black type mares to various well bred quality stallions of our own as well as others currently available in the industry.
A fine selection of solid performing prospects, aged event, Amateur, and Non Pro caliber horses can always be found in our barn. I make every effort to find the ideal horse for my clients, whether it's a Futurity prospect, a well-trained Non-Pro horse, a well bred brood mare, yearling, or just a nice finished horse to ride.
Our breeding program includes the development and promotion of young stallions I currently have in training and which are sired by cutting horses legends such as Smart Little Lena and High Brow Cat to name a few. We can also make arrangements to breed your mare to other leading sires in the industry. Call for more details.
As a USDA approved quarantine facility, Joe Heim Quarter Horses, Inc. can make arrangements to accommodate both buyers and sellers. We offer import/export quarantine services and can ship horses anywhere in the world.
A selection of nicely started prospects (such as the mare pictured) and seasoned show horses are always available for sale. All are gentle, well broke, have a lot of handle, and are have an abundance of cow sense. Buyers can be assured of getting a solid performer.

I strive to develop a horse into a gentle, well trained performance athlete. Many, like this mare, can be worked without a bridle -not just by me - but by most anyone who can ride a cutting horse. Despite what some might think, being gentled doesn't take the cow out of a horse or alter performance. Normally, the more gentle a horse is the more you can do with them and the more they are willing to do for you.
