Numerous young men and woman have apprenticed at my ranch over the years and have gone on to become prominent and successful horse trainers in their own right. Having started out in much the same way, I have an understanding of their passion for horses and their desire to learn. Breeding, training, and showing performance quarter horses is hard work but the rewards are indescribable. I share that philosophy and more with all who apprentice with me in hopes of being a positive influence in their lives. Housing and facilities to keep a horse are available and all apprentices are paid as they learn.
If you are interested in an apprenticeship please email your resume' and a brief summary of your experience, interests, and goals to joeheimquarterhorses@yahoo.com. Currently, there is not an opening but we will keep your resume' on file. Don't hesitate to call and ask questions.
